Nach einem Streit mit Big Machine Records nahm sie vier der sechs von ihren dort erschienenen Alben neu auf und veröffentlichte sie zwischen 2021 und 2023 mit dem Namenszusatz Taylor’s Version. Dabei wurde ihre überarbeitete Version von All Too Well mit einer Dauer von 10:13 Minuten zum längsten Nummer-1-Hit der Hot-100-Chartgeschichte.

Ihr zehntes Studioalbum Midnights erschien 2022, brach mehrere Streaming-Rekorde und war ihr fünftes Album, das sich in den USA über eine Million Mal verkaufte, was bis dahin niemandem gelungen war.
